You Are Gone, But Not Forgotten
Me 'n' Dad...
You are gone, but not forgotten,

‘Cause I see you in my dreams.

We sit and talk for hours.

Our relationship, it seems

Closer than it used to;

As close as it has been.

You hold me in your arms,
Say you love me,

I do too.

And just because

You are not here

Doesn’t mean that it’s not true.

You are gone, but not forgotten.
And I hope somehow you know,

I’m trying hard to live my life

Despite the Highs and Lows.

To bring about

The best of You

And take it as it goes.

You are gone, but not forgotten.
Dear Dad,

I love you so.
