Freedom or Bust

Giving them a chance to Fly
And asking them, perchance, to Die
Can we help but wonder Why
We even care to Try?

It was a day of Destiny
A day we thought would never Be
A day to test what You & Me
Will do in order to be Free

But

Now I feel I'm running, scared
I'd never even thought or dared
To bare the sorrow that I bared
To show the world how much I cared.

And

Directed back at me was Rage!
Am I some beast, best kept in cage?
And in the "war" we now must wage,
Whose duty is it then to gauge
Who Shall be Free
Or Enemy?
It could be You.
It could be Me.
