~Hobbes & Frisky 2001~
In loving memory of my beloved Black Cat, Frisky. (1982-2001) He lived nearly 20 years, and in that time, shared Good Times & Bad. As a kitten, he willingly endured anything this girl (age 5 at the time) could throw at him, including playing "Dress Up". His favorite Past-Time, even in his old age, was to violently defend his seat in a Doll Stroller which he loved to catch a catnap in or go for a "Push" around the House. Pictured here with his younger brother Hobbes; a 20lb. San Francisco Tabby with 3 extra toes on his front paws which allow him to grasp items.

~Boris, The Great Hunter~
Shown here, slinking about, Boris is a pure bred Seal-Point Siamese. Skittish to a fault, this sleek feline is all muscle. He has proved to be a cunning hunter, and has thrived in our rural environment.

~Summer Breeze~
Munching Grass in a Evening, this Doe and her twins was one of 2 Mothers to give birth to and successfully raise twins on our property in 2001. Because we do not hunt, the deer look on our property as a safe haven and often birth and rear their young right below my cabin. The babies shown here are about 3 weeks old.

~Circling the Skies~
Many birds including Turkey Buzzards, Ravens, Golden Eagles and Red Tail Hawks (shown here) ride the magnificent updrafts our Mountainous Territory provides...

~Wings of Change 2003~
In the Summer and Fall of 2003, our New Backyard is Blessed by a Frenzy of Fluttering Wings, as hundreds of Butterflies and Moths drink from the tiny white flowers on the Spearmint which surrounds our House.

Our New Backyard (2003) is teaming with friends of a feathered persuation. Pictured above, one of our many Hummingbird visitors, and the Nutthatches have returned to begin their Fall feasting at the feeder.
